This you’ll is what you’ll need

Bread: 4 slices

Onions: 2

Pepper: ½

Garlic: 4 cloves

Green chillies: 2

Ginger: ½” piece

Tomato ketchup: 3tbsp

Soya sauce: 1tsp

Chilli sauce:1tsp

Vinegar: ½tsp

Cornflour: 4tbsp

Coriander leaves: To garnish

Lemon juice: 1tsp

Salt and pepper to taste

Oil for frying

Lets get cooking

1. Chop the onions, pepper, garlic, ginger and green chillies finely.

2. Cut the bread slices into one inch cubes.

3. Make a paste with cornflour, salt, pepper, chilli sauce and water.

4. Dip the bread cubes in cornflour batter and deep fry.

5. Heat oil in a pan and add the sliced ginger, garlic, green chillies and onions.
Saute until transparent.

6. Add the peppers, soya sauce, ketchup and vinegar.
Stir fry for a few minutes.

7. Add the bread and salt. Fry for a few more minutes.

8. Garnish with coriander leaves, a dash of lime and serve hot.

Approximate preparation and cooking time: 30 minutes.

Manchurian is usually made with cauliflower, paneer (cottage cheese), chciken, and even mushroom or baby corn.

Thought would try out something different and came up with this idea.

Good to make especially with bread that is old and going to waste.
